Mike has been with the company since 2007, originally employed as an installer and then moved into the office initially as an Estimator and then on to the role of Contracts Manager. Mike brings the benefit of his hands-on site experience to the planning of our customers installations, ensuring a practical and deliverable solution. Working alongside Simon he co-ordinates all projects to ensure our works are completed to the highest standard, on time and within budget.
What Mike says: “I enjoy working with our customers and directly with site managers to ensure that together we are completing projects that meet and exceed their expectations. I run a team of excellent installers who have a practical and professional approach and we are all committed to providing high quality installations and customer service throughout.”
Steve’s career started with the installation of manual Teleflex window operating equipment which led to the formation of S J Fry Window Controls in 1995. After identifying changes in client requirements the company grew to provide automated natural and smoke ventilation systems and the business became part of Smoke Control Solutions Ltd. Following Steve’s decision to sell the smoke ventilation side of his business in 2018, the window control and natural ventilation division was purchased by Fry Window Controls Ltd. Continuing to specialise in the supply and installation of window control systems, Steve brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience to the table.
What Steve says: “The window controls side of the business has come full circle for me and I am excited to refocus on the market sector I know best. I am looking forward to developing relationships with new customers and continuing to work with our existing customers to ensure we carry on providing top quality products, installations and excellent customer service.”
Sarah is an ACCA qualified accountant with over 15 years’ experience across different financial environments. After joining the company as Financial Controller in 2014 her role has evolved in line with the company changes and in addition to running the day to day finance operations, Sarah now works alongside Steve on Business Development.
What Sarah says: “I really enjoy the variation in my role – it makes every day different and I am continually learning. I am looking forward to meeting more of our customers and working to grow the (Fry Window Controls) business.”
Simon has been with Fry Window Controls since 2007 and is responsible for running the day to day operations of the business with Mike Bevan. Simon’s main responsibilities cover customer quotations, contract reviews, technical support and equipment orders. Simon has a strong customer service background having formerly worked for BMW for 16 years in their Parts, Bodyshop, Service and Warranty departments, all of which were customer service orientated, demanding a high level of customer satisfaction. Simon has built solid relationships with our customers and is renowned for his efficient and helpful responses to their requirements, providing the right products for the application.
What Simon says: “I enjoy working with our customers and providing cost effective and practical solutions, always striving to work within budgets without compromising on quality. I am also looking forward to working closely with our suppliers on new products to increase our offering for natural ventilation products.”
